What should I do if I develop a blister while hiking?

Asked 4 years ago

I love hiking and exploring the great outdoors, however, blisters can really put a damper on my adventures. What should I do if I develop a blister while out on a hike? I want to make sure I can continue enjoying my time outside without being in pain or risking infection. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Cut a mole foam with a gap wide enough to avoid touching the blisters and place it over the surrounding area, then fill the hole with antibiotics ointment or a blister pad. Thereafter, add a layer of tape over the top.
