Should runners choose insoles based on their arch type?
Asked 4 years ago
Hey, I am looking into purchasing some insoles to aid me with my running. I have high foot arches so I was wondering whether it would be best to look for insoles that are specifically made for my foot type or if any insoles will do. Any help would be appreciated.

If performing a high-impact activity such as running, then ensuring that your arches have the right level of support is one of the most important things to consider. This will help to reduce shock and strain throughout your feet, as well as reducing your risk of foot problems which often affect runners, such as plantar fasciitis. An insole designed for people with high arches will ensure that your arches are fully cushioned and supported, to keep you running for longer.
