How long do insoles typically last before needing to be replaced?

Asked 4 years ago

Hi, I have been using a pair of insoles for around a year now and am thinking that maybe I should get new ones. Are there any signs or a typical timeframe for replacing insoles? TYIA

There is no typical time frame for an insole replacement. However, a good insole lasts for about 5-6 months depending on the intensity of usage. The first sign to catch on is the fitting of the insole. With regular wear and tear, the insole gets damaged and causes you pain or discomfort every time you walk. Other signs to look for are discoloration, not providing enough stability and bad odor.
